1Purpose of This Notice
This Compliance Notice explains the regulatory framework in which Bright Oak HR Consultancy operates, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the safeguards we recommend you apply when choosing any immigration adviser.
2Regulated Representation
Immigration advice and representation are regulated activities in many countries. Where a destination requires applications to be handled by a licensed or registered professional, such as a regulated Canadian immigration consultant or lawyer, a MARA-registered migration agent in Australia, or an IAA-licensed adviser in New Zealand, your matter will be conducted by, or under the supervision of, an appropriately authorised individual or partner firm.
You are always entitled to ask for the name, licence or registration number and regulator of the person handling your file, and to verify it on the regulator’s public register. We encourage every client to do so.
3Ethical Practice Standards
- We provide advice that is accurate, current and based on official published sources.
- We act in your best interests and tell you plainly when a pathway is unlikely to succeed.
- We do not submit false, forged or misleading documents or information, and we will not assist any attempt to do so.
- We do not promise visas, invitations or decisions, and we do not offer access to “guaranteed” quotas or inside connections with immigration officials.
- We manage conflicts of interest openly and keep client matters confidential.
4Fraud and Scam Awareness
Unfortunately, fraudulent operators target migrants and job seekers. Please be cautious of anyone who:
- Guarantees a visa, a job offer or a place in a selection draw.
- Asks for payment in cash, personal accounts or cryptocurrency, or refuses to issue an official receipt.
- Offers to sell you a job offer or labour-market document, or suggests you hide information from the authorities.
- Pressures you to pay immediately or claims a government office has chosen you for special treatment.
5Accuracy of Information
Immigration law, quotas, invitation scores, fees and processing times change often and sometimes without notice. Information on this website, including programme names, eligibility thresholds and timelines, is provided for general guidance only and may not reflect the latest changes. It is not legal advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for an assessment of your own circumstances. Always confirm critical details with the relevant government authority or with your adviser before acting.
6Data Protection Compliance
We handle personal data in accordance with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where applicable, the GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for details on how information is collected, used and protected.
7Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions
We may be required to verify the identity of clients and, in certain business-migration or investor matters, the source of funds. We do not accept instructions or funds where we have reasonable grounds to suspect money laundering, terrorist financing or a breach of applicable sanctions, and we may be obliged by law to report such concerns to the relevant authorities.
8Third-Party Credentials and Marks
References on this site to regulators, testing bodies and government programmes are made for information only. Names and marks belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners, and their mention does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those organisations beyond the relationships described in your service agreement.
